Rynetta Carter

Rynetta Carter is a transplanted Midwesterner whose husband’s career path led them to South Texas. Not knowing anyone and finding herself in a ‘foreign land’ with very little support, three littles arrived in quick succession and she found herself in a wilderness season full of overwhelming challenges. But God! He is faithful and used those difficult years drawing her closer to Him as He continues to redeem her story. Rynetta is blessed to come alongside women who are seeking to make sense of the storms in their life and who are looking to cultivate a deeper relationship with their Creator. She also hosts our Selah Retreats and looks forward to organizing and preparing a comfortable place for you to rest your souls with Jesus.

Karen Kershner

Karen is grateful to be able to encourage other people in their life journey.  As the youngest of 4 children, she often felt overlooked and didn’t find her voice until her high school years when she found the love of Christ through a local church youth group. This led to a career in helping others , mainly children, to find their voice and God given talents, gifting and purpose! After 33 years as a nurse, Karen retired this year to focus on this next season of fulfilling her call to help women find their voice and unique calling in later seasons of life. It is her deep desire to encourage women in their spiritual life journey and gifting to serve Christ and love others.

Angela Griffin

From an early age, Angela felt a deep desire and calling to build a safe and loving home. Twenty-seven years as a Coast Guard wife challenged this longing as she moved their “home” into fourteen different houses while raising and directing the education for their three beloved daughters. She and her husband, Ryan, finally set down roots in the Texas Hill Country for the empty nest season. Angela’s love for homemaking now overflows into her efforts to create welcoming opportunities for women to grow in their faith in Christ, find healing for their hearts, and cultivate trusting relationships with friends. Whether through opening her home , facilitating Bible studies and book clubs, or co-leading Journey groups, Angela pours her heart and time into helping women find their hearts’ true home in the unfailing love of Jesus and among sisters in Christ.

Gretchen Gibbs

Since her early teens, Gretchen has been passionate about discipleship, teaching the Bible and leading others to deeper connections with Jesus.  She loves interacting with women in small groups or in conversations over coffee. She especially loves to journal her interactions with God as His beloved and worship Him through music.  However, her journey has not been without its twists and turns and detours. Her story is one of disappointments and hurts that have been and are continuing to be gloriously redeemed by her Abba Father.  Over a decade ago, He drew Gretchen out of a pit of anxiety and fear and placed her on His road to healing and wholeness through a life built on identity in Christ and the foundation of His Word. She is thrilled to have the privilege to help others break down the barriers that keep them from a deep and secure connection with Jesus and with others. She is currently leading Journey Group healing groups for women.  She is the mother of 2 sons and 1 daughter and lives in Bulverde, Texas with her husband of 37 years.

Mary McNeill

As a passionate advocate for women's spiritual growth, Mary is deeply committed to helping women understand that they are loved by God, and cherished beyond measure. With years of experience in guiding individuals through personal and spiritual healing, she offers a compassionate approach rooted in community and Biblical contemplative practices. She believes that Jesus sees each of us as beloved daughters of the Father, and it is her heart's desire to help women encounter that truth and grow in intimacy with God. With experience in spiritual formation, Biblical counseling, and years of practical ministry, Mary offers a safe space for women to explore their faith, heal from past wounds, and deepen their relationship with God. Through reflection, prayer, and a shared journey in community, she desires to guide women to not only see God through the eyes of Jesus but to embrace His unconditional love and healing in their lives. She is a mother of 3 living in Spring Branch with her husband of 36 years.

Sara Skelton

Sara's desire to see people find healing and companions along their journey to wholeness has propelled her to pursue training as a Spiritual Director and Life Coach. She has found over the last two years of training and sitting with companions, how powerful and soul-filling empathy given to others has been. Sara is focused on increasing her education in trauma-informed soul formation at every opportunity to address a deep gap in care for one's whole self (mind, body and soul) in faith based communities, churches, and other Christian contexts. Sara has learned to slow her pace, grow in her trust of Jesus and to rest in her unchangeable identity given to her by her Creator. Out of that firm foundation, she has  been on a healing journey, the last seven years, to face fear, shame, contempt and unhealthy ways of showing up in her relationships. Sara is married to her husband Kyle of 19 years and is mama to her favorite three kids (13, 11 & 4 years old) in the whole wide world, residing near Houston, Texas.
God's call on her life has been to walk with others as they look at their own inner life and seek healing.

Beth Hall

A native Texan, Beth is leading women to take courage, find hope and healing in Jesus. She has a heart to see women flourish in their relationships with the Lord. After growing up in church, she saw God not as the Father full of grace and unfailing love she now knows, but as one who only saw her imperfections and sins. With a flawed relationship with her Heavenly Father and a broken relationship with her earthly father, she thought she could only turn her back. She journeyed through four rounds of cancer and in the process discovered God never left her side. She also realized it was God who had the power to heal her and restore her life again. Learning what it has been like to be in the unknown and in the waiting, she understands the blessings of friends, family and strangers who have prayed and loved her with the kindness of the Lord. Beth served as Director of Women’s Ministry at First Baptist Church in Round Rock, Texas prior to moving to Bulverde four years ago. Beth has been married to her husband for 14 years with a freshman daughter in high-school.
